As the hosts of the BAFTA TV Awards made fun of her husband Joe Swash, Stacey Solomon retaliated.
Presenting the award for Factual Entertainment at the glamorous presentation on Sunday night, May 12, is the 34-year-old panelist for Loose Women.
Hosts Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan welcomed her to the stage before she started performing, and the comedic pair couldn’t resist making fun of Joe.
Romesh continued: “Next is the award for Factual Entertainment and to present it is the host of Sort Your Life Out.” Which, Rob said, is a little excessive coming from someone who wed Joe Swash. Would you kindly welcome Stacey Solomon, the national treasure?”
Before revealing the candidates, Stacey Solomon assured them, “He’s not that bad.” She went on to say that she is happy to be leaving the house with her five kids “and a Joe Swash” and to the audience. Celebrity Race Across the World was declared the winner after the possible winners were eliminated.

Although the audience seemed to like the joke about Joe, viewers at home weren’t too fond of the presenters. According to a fan on X, which was once known as Twitter, “Never understand why these two get this job.” “These two are crap presenters and crap comedians,” said another. “Those Z List Presenters Who Are They?” wrote a third person.
This year’s nominees are led by The Crown and Black Mirror, each with eight and seven nods. The Last of Us, The Long Shadow, and Succession have five nominations each, behind Happy Valley, Slow Horses, and The Sixth Commandment, which have all garnered six.
